Join award-winning instructors Lucy Falkner and Eric Shaw from Rhythm City Productions (www.rhythmcity.ca) and learn this sensual dance rooted in blues music, which incorporates African movement and European partnering techniques. Unlock the motion of the hips and explore the subtle physical communication between you and your partner.

Rhythm City Productions is devoted to the study and enjoyment of vintage jazz and blues dance styles. Specializing in Lindy Hop, Charleston and blues dancing, Rhythm City Productions was founded during the summer of 2008 by Falkner, a dance enthusiast who discovered vintage jazz dances in 1999. Falkner has travelled and taught throughout Canada, the Pacific Northwest and parts of Europe.

Classes are held at The Yale (1300 Granville Street) every Monday night for blues music fans and dance devotees. No partner required. No prior dance experience is necessary for the beginner level.
